If G is right, then it looks like 1 down, 8 to go.
|
Not necessarily, we can only see paws, so the rest of puddy tat may show signs of some of those eight have been used. :haha:

What’s the tie in to the apple? I see Adam, Eve, and the snake. Next to Eve is Isaac Newton, then Snow White, Bill Gates and the old hag who gave Snow White the poisoned apple. Don’t know who the blond is, but the guy next to her could be William Tell then his son. Or the guy at the head of the table is Tell and guy with the crossbow is with the blonde... or not?
Anyway, those are my guesses. |
The blonde is either Aphrodite or Helen of Troy--in Greek mythology, Paris had a golden apple inscribed "for the most beautiful" and had to pick which goddess to give it to. Each one offered him stuff, but he chose Aphrodite because she promised to give him the most beautiful human as his wife (Helen), thus starting the Trojan War.
|
I believe it was Eris (the goddess), not Paris, who threw the apple. Paris was picked as judge by the other goddesses trying to claim it.
|
Right, Eris was pissed because she wasn't invited to the party, so she tossed the apple out hoping to start a jealous mosh pit of vanity...
|
OK, that leaves the dude in the blue shirt next to her and the guy at the head of the table. I think one of them is William Tell. The guy at the head of the table has a quiver of arrows and the blue shirt has a crossbow. I don't know which Tell used to shoot the apple off the boy.
|
I think the crossbow is William Tell, since he's more properly seated next to the boy. The traditional bowman looks like Robin Hood, but I can't find any connection other than a random episode of the old "Adventures of Robin Hood" TV show called "An Apple for the Archer."
|
You're right, Wiki say Tell used a crossbow.
All I found was The Minstrel and the Apple: A Story of Avalon and Robin Hood, on a fan fiction page. |

I had a tough time with this one. The caption said if it didn't move while you walked by you wouldn't see it.
I looked and looked, is that a bird, is that a squirrel, is there a snake in the grass? Couldn't see it. Attachment 70844 Out of frustration I checked the comments. 1 - I found it. Oh shut up. 2 - I'd be dead. Aha, something dangerous. Went back and spotted it right away. |
I believe I had the exact same sequence of events on the same blog.

Chomp!
Always look for the eye(s). |
Yep the eyes have it.

OK here's an easy one, just 1 difference between the two pictures. I nailed this one quickly.

Think I got it.
I'll wait before declaring. |
