I am Rarity, with a side order of Sparkle Twilight.

fargon 04-28-2015 10:25 AM

I'm Pinkie Pie.

Gravdigr 04-28-2015 03:36 PM

I've always thought of you as a Pinkie Pie.[j/k]

I'm not sure why, but, I find all this My Little Pony/Bronie shit just hilarious.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

U.S. News Quiz: 10 Questions to Test if You’re a True Beatles Fanatic

ETA: I forgot to post my score. I got 9 outta 10. Missed question #9, about which album sold more copies in the US.

glatt 06-05-2015 12:35 PM

8 of 10.
I had no clue on one and just guessed, and for the other I had it narrowed down to 50/50 and just guessed wrong.

Clodfobble 06-05-2015 01:36 PM

4 out of 10. And only one of those I actually knew, the others were lucky guesses. I am not a huge Beatles fan.

fargon 06-05-2015 02:35 PM

I got half of them.

Gravdigr 06-28-2015 12:05 PM

What Do We Do Now?

You have to figure out what to do. Fairly short little game. I finished it. It was fun.

I had a little trouble in the water room, but, it's fairly simple...after you've figured it out.

Gravdigr 06-28-2015 02:16 PM

Not as fun second time 'round. Go figure.

xoxoxoBruce 06-28-2015 02:37 PM

Made me think a little, damn you.

DanaC 06-28-2015 04:32 PM

I gave up on the water room.

Gravdigr 06-29-2015 03:36 PM

Highlight for Hintage:

Freeze the flow of water, and then turn it off and back on, the box will float up and push the red button.

Gravdigr 07-01-2015 01:30 PM

Heavy Metal Lyric, or Bible Verse?

I got 13 out of 16.

DanaC 07-01-2015 02:10 PM

I got the same.

Got the first couple wrong - then was on a roll til the Job passage about being a friend to owls...

xoxoxoBruce 07-01-2015 02:12 PM

Never a heavy/death metal fan, so strictly guesswork from the language.

Sundae 07-02-2015 02:38 AM

15 out of 16, although some close calls.
I know the cadences of the Bible, but I don't know heavy metal at all.

(quite chuffed actually, even while admitting to guesswork!)

Gravdigr 07-02-2015 03:29 PM

Well...Bible verses rarely rhyme, or have an easily recognizable rhythm.:D

OK, if it's not 6, what is it?

Clodfobble 07-11-2015 03:06 PM

If you count the letters in each, it goes 3-5-4 on the top, and 3-4-? on the bottom, which could leave either seven or eight as the missing five-letter number.

It's a bullshit rationalization, but it's one way of looking at it from outside the box, anyway.

Gravdigr 07-11-2015 03:39 PM

5.

1/2, 3/4, 5/5. One-half, three-fourths, a whole.

NFC.:headshake

glatt 07-11-2015 05:33 PM

1+3+5 add up to 9, so this is a problem that asks "what three numbers add up to nine?"
2 +4 will only add up to 9 if you add 3, so the answer is 3.

xoxoxoBruce 07-11-2015 06:52 PM

Nope.

Gravdigr 07-11-2015 10:06 PM

None of us? That makes me feel a little better.

xoxoxoBruce 07-11-2015 10:39 PM

Nope, none.

sexobon 07-12-2015 12:16 AM

Is it 3; because, 135 and 243 are divisible by 3 and powers of 3?

sexobon 07-12-2015 12:27 AM

Is it 3; because, added all together the total is 18 which is the age of majority?

sexobon 07-12-2015 12:30 AM

Is it 3; because, following the words "Think about it" there are two sets of three dots but it can't be six?

sexobon 07-12-2015 12:54 AM

1 Attachment(s)
If it's not 3, then it must be 7; because, the beanbag landed on 6.

Attachment 52466

sexobon 07-12-2015 12:56 AM

This is looking more and more like a trick question. :eyebrow:

Trick question? No. But you own your assumptions.
I tried for a least five minutes to figure out the pattern, then gave up and scrolled to...

Clodfobble 07-12-2015 06:58 AM

Ah ha!

Undertoad 07-12-2015 08:08 AM

So the answer is 6!

http://cellar.org/2015/6speed.jpg

xoxoxoBruce 07-12-2015 08:38 AM

No, the answer is R, Yours is a different puzzle.

glatt 07-12-2015 10:55 AM

Good puzzle Bruce.

Gravdigr 07-12-2015 11:53 AM

So, it's a pirate puzzle? The answer is R.

How many of these 80s bands can you identify?

Terribly easy, but, it's still fun.

This is also true.

Gravdigr 09-22-2015 04:38 PM

Not a quiz, as such:

How Well Can You [or your monitor] See Color?

It's on a Yahoo page, so, the video may or may not work.

I got all but one. The first one, blue, I think it was.

xoxoxoBruce 09-27-2015 04:48 AM

I can't see the video, but here's a Buzzfeed color test.
I only got 6 out of 9 and they're raving about it?
Oh...oh... stroke me BuzzFeed, like only you can..ohhh.:eyebrow:

This Is The Hardest NCIS Quiz You'll Ever Take

I got a little over half of the questions right.

Yeah I know, I was fucking with ya. Although I know many people are, I'm not into cops or dramas, they break my concentration causing me to go soft. ;)

Gravdigr 12-04-2015 03:39 PM

It's about the only thing I try to see each week. I've been trying to give it up because it's getting to the point it's just too predictable.

xoxoxoBruce 12-04-2015 04:02 PM

Let's send that DNA to the lab and have coffee while they analyze it.

Gravdigr 12-05-2015 05:01 PM

What the hell, it only takes 90 seconds, right?

xoxoxoBruce 12-05-2015 05:27 PM

It's instant coffee. ;)

Attachment 54430

fargon 12-11-2015 03:30 PM

I, like Grav am moderately nefarious.

DanaC 12-11-2015 03:35 PM

Infrequently vile.

keryx 12-11-2015 03:44 PM

Moderately nefarious. Disappointing. It seems I need to work on narcissism and psychopathy, but I have Machiavellianism almost perfect.

xoxoxoBruce 12-13-2015 12:11 PM

You are infrequently vile – you mostly put others before yourself, though you may find occasions in which your dark side shines.

From glittering gold to music's charms, there's no shortage of well-known quotes. There is, however, a shortage of people who actually get them right. During an era when sharing is as close as a smartphone and as universal as a hashtag, accuracy is often left behind. How well do you know these famous quotations? Maybe not as well as you think.

xoxoxoBruce 12-22-2015 05:30 PM

Yeah, 17. :(

Gravdigr 12-24-2015 07:34 AM

I was kinda impressed with myself...

Clodfobble 12-24-2015 08:10 AM

I got all of the Shakespeare ones right, and the ones where they have you choose the correct version of the quote, but I missed almost every one where they asked "which of these three quotes is off by one word?"

orthodoc 12-26-2015 06:29 AM

Well, butter my butt and call me a brioche; I fail at movie quotes.

Also, I am infrequently vile. Dang, I was hoping to qualify as at least Moderately Nefarious!

BigV 12-30-2015 11:05 PM

10/20

fargon 12-31-2015 05:31 AM

7 out of 20, I suck.

keryx 12-31-2015 10:31 AM

16/20. Kicking myself for missing 2 about Shakespeare.
