Only if I can get it in the brown.

At ATT you have 30 days to change your mind. Dunno about Verizon.

Definitely spend some time with the LG before choosing. The touch screen seemed slow and draggy to me.

Making choices is hard. I know cnet has great reviews

and amazon too.

classicman 11-16-2009 09:37 PM

Jim, check out the phones by HTC.

A review of the env3 on amazon says

Worse, there is no way to transfer photos or videos to or from this phone with a USB cable. If you pay for a data plan, this is no trouble, since you can email them to yourself or post them to a website. But otherwise, you're stuck. There is a laborious process by which you can upload pictures from your computer onto a Verizon webpage, then send them as picture messages to your phone, but the picture quality is terrible, and this still doesn't get photos from your phone to your computer. It ought to work just like a camera -- plug the cord into your computer and transfer the pics -- but it doesn't. The only reason for this that I can imagine is that Verizon wants you to pay extra for a data plan, which just seems like a dirty trick.
If true, that's a huge concern... I can send a pic from my razr to my email now, why would that change? Is it about the phone or the provider? <clueless>

So, you're a pegging aficionado?

lumberjim 11-17-2009 12:46 AM

i made another customer say she liked it in the brown today....and i had a witness this time.

Crimson Ghost 11-17-2009 01:03 AM

Did you offer her an extra-thick cushion?

If you're sending a pic from your razr to your phone now, then I'd guess you already have a data plan and this would not be a problem.

I opted out of the data plan. But with my phone you can hook up the phone to a usb cable to the computer and just copy the pics from phone to computer.

No, until last night we had almost the most basic Verizon fam plan available - not even free texting. I could send pics like a text though, to another phone or my email.

But last night we impulse-bought 4 Crackberries (curve) with unlimited data plans from Sprint. It's like $20/mo more than we're paying now and the phones were BOGO/$50. I'm happy.

Undertoad 11-17-2009 04:09 PM

Yay! It's an awesome phone. Now... pay more money!

I love the charging cradle at the accessories store at crackberry.com. It's silver and has a lit BB symbol at the bottom. Worth the $19.99 to always have your phone charging, sitting upright at your desk.

The best bluetooth headsets I have found are from Plantronics. I tried many back when I had a job, and settled on the Voyager 520. Sure it's more expensive than many you can get... but it's comfortable, easy to slip on, and sounds good.

The Plantronics Voyager 510 is an ergonomic masterpiece.

Spreading the cost out over 4 phones makes it even more worth it. Woohoo! The kids are going to vomit with excitement, I can't wait.
