Give it back sweetheart. You'll be arrested.

Griff 08-22-2012 01:24 PM

Hmmm... I was thinking Annie Lennox without the dye job but she's older.

Undertoad 08-22-2012 01:25 PM

Not a gorilla/monkey lady, no.

glatt 08-22-2012 01:35 PM

That narrows it down then.

Undertoad 08-22-2012 01:47 PM

You will remember her, maybe even fondly, although you may not know her name. But you might remember her character's name.

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 02:29 PM

ARGH! I want to figure this out so bad!

Did she wear an animal suit or something, or do you mean character like a human being she portrayed?

Nirvana 08-22-2012 02:31 PM

Bridget Fonda

Undertoad 08-22-2012 02:31 PM

She portrayed a human character.

(BF no)

glatt 08-22-2012 02:36 PM

I was refreshing my memory of the members of the brat pack, and I'm sure she's not one of them. But she would have been their age. So she was on the fringes. Not an A-lister. And so many of the starlets of that time have made reappearances, so you know what they look like now. I haven's seen Mary Stuart Masterson in a long time, but I seriously doubt she could have ended up looking like this woman.

She sort of looks like Winona Ryder, but no.

glatt 08-22-2012 02:38 PM

She looks a lot like Justine Shapiro, but she's not an actress.

Clodfobble 08-22-2012 02:42 PM

Punky Brewster?

Undertoad 08-22-2012 02:42 PM

You don't remember her name, but you might remember her character's name, because she is known for one particular character.

Undertoad 08-22-2012 02:42 PM

Not Justine Shapiro, not Punky Brewster

That would have been a good one.

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 02:45 PM

I thought of Punky...wrong age. Thought of Justine Bateman, she's the right age?

WHo is Justine Shapiro?

Undertoad 08-22-2012 02:46 PM

Not Justine Bateman.

Known for one particular movie character, from one particular movie.

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 02:47 PM

I mean, Mallory Keaton.

eta: RATS

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 02:50 PM

OH oh ohohohhhh

Mia Sara? Ferris' girlfriend!

Undertoad 08-22-2012 02:51 PM

DING DING DING DING WINNAHHHHHHHH

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 02:53 PM

TELL ME WHAT I'VE WON, BOB!!!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 02:54 PM

And she is a pretty lady, very graceful looking.

glatt 08-22-2012 02:56 PM

Well done!

I can totally see it in the eyes.

Clodfobble 08-22-2012 02:58 PM

Ah ha! Nice one, UT. I was starting to think it must have been someone from the 70s that I wouldn't know anyway, but I know Ferris' girlfriend for sure.

Undertoad 08-22-2012 02:58 PM

That was fun.

And what perfect casting for FBDO, eh? To be Ferris's girlfriend called for, obviously, 10 out of 10 beauty, but never ditzy in the least. A certain sophistication without being upper-class. She loves him, and she knows he loves her, even though he is confidence to the extreme.

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 03:02 PM

I was a bit jealous of her cute little self! I wanted to hang with Ferris!

More of these...that was a great one!

glatt 08-22-2012 03:03 PM

You won. Your turn.

k, got one. This might be tough:

glatt 08-22-2012 03:38 PM

Sawyer from Lost?

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 03:41 PM

Nope.

Yeah, I googled it.

Now who is THIS?

Griff 08-22-2012 05:37 PM

I totally know that face...

Happy Monkey 08-22-2012 06:07 PM

Looks a bit Kristin Stewarty, though I know it's not her.

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 06:09 PM

I bet you do! Obscure but a blast from the past..for those in our age range, that is. :)

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 06:10 PM

Not kristen.

Undertoad 08-22-2012 06:54 PM

I know that face too. This is already killing me.

Happy Monkey 08-22-2012 07:14 PM

She's at the "TV Land Awards"...

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 07:17 PM

Yes. Even I didn't notice that...but it is a great clue!

Lamplighter 08-22-2012 07:43 PM

Looks like the wicked witch of the east/west (?) to me

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 07:51 PM

No. Younger. This is also a recent pic.

Gravdigr 08-22-2012 08:27 PM

I went ahead and cheated.

Never heard of her.

TinEye was no help. I was disappoint.

I went on quite an expedition, and nothing quite fit. But I did find her.

Gravdigr 08-22-2012 08:28 PM

Tough one.

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 08:32 PM

Must not be your demographic. ;)

I will have more clues tomorrow.

If you didn't use TinEye or the similar Google tool, I don't think you cheated.

Gravdigr 08-22-2012 08:36 PM

Amy Linker.

I did a text-typed-in Google Image search for "TV Land Awards", and started drilling.

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 08:38 PM

Well yeah, you're allowed to research right? It just isn't fair to use pic recognition.

And I'm not sure if you're right or wrong. If you didn't use verboten tools, try an answer. If you did, pm me and I will yay or nay ya! :)

Didn't see that part.

:o

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 08:48 PM

Yes, correct!

I can't cut and paste pics from my phone. She played opposite sarah jessica parker in Square Pegs. Remember Tracy Nelson and the other cast? Great for 1982.

Last line of theme song: one size does not fit all. ;)

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 08:49 PM

Grav, help me out: grab a cast photo of square pegs. For contrast!

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 09:19 PM

Pfffft.

You're up, grav.

Undertoad 08-22-2012 09:25 PM

"I'd like it if they like us - but I don't think they like us!"

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 09:30 PM

Thanks, ut! :)

infinite monkey 08-22-2012 09:43 PM

I went to look for that song on youtube but I was wrong! It was the closing theme. I saw in the credits that Tom Scott was involved in the music?

Totally unprepared. Hang on.

Undertoad 08-22-2012 09:48 PM

I don't know but I was a big Waitresses fan back in the day, and have all their stuff on vinyl.
