The Toymaker site has a bunch of PDFs you can download (free). Print them for the kids to cut up and paste together for Halloween. ;)

I love the black cat treat box.

Question is, oh magic 8 ball, will my Dad be more annoyed at the waste of printer ink than Mum will be delighted at being presented with it (with choccie treat inside of course)...?

Of course for you, using the "for the kids" line is just an excuse for having fun. :D

The things you can do, with paper and glue.

Nice. Pop-up stuff is so much harder than it seems, even when it seems hard. I tried to repair a torn pop-up book, and failed to get it back to the way it was, though I did manage to get it working pretty well.
