The Bible Podcast
I recognize that this will have fairly limited appeal, but I thought I'd post it here. We've launched something called "The Bible Podcast", and you can find it at
http://thebiblepodcast.org It basically takes a chapter a day from the New English Translation of the text, which to my knowledge is the only translation done under an open-source model, and releases a reading of it as a podcast. The readings are done by a wide range of people from all over the world. Essentially it's an open-source model of podcast as well. If it sounds interesting, come check it out. If it sounds like something worth mocking, go pick the scabs on one of the 6 billion threads already dedicated to that ... |
Wouldn't you know it ... I just finished reading the new testament, and I still don't have an iPod.

While still fresh in your mind, Wolf, could you briefly summarize it for us?

Be nice to the other guy, always have a backup plan when you have extra guests for dinner, and bucking the established order tends to get you in very, very deep trouble, but it's worth it.

Sweet Smooth! Great source. I'm always looking for good sources of audio readings. Looks like they just launched on the 1st so they are limited on the chapters. My study group is doing the book of John, so this works for me.
I'll be keeping my eye on this one. |
Very nice I see MP3 links to listen to them........
Quite handy I would say :) |
