Roofing tile was my guess. Not enough demand for weirdly curvy tiles in just Japanese gardens alone.

Wonderful bbro

Let's start a thread about roofing tiles, then derail it into a discussion of Bbro's photos.

Thanks All! :) I am taking a DIY photography course this month, so hopefully they will get even better!!

That course may make it easier, but hard to imagine them getting better.

I finally got some pics from Asheville for you. I've gotta break it up since there are so many favorites. Since I have pictures from Friday, Sunday, and Monday, I'll just post it that way

Most of these are from the Craggy Gardens Trail. I thought it would connect to the Craggy Pinnacle. It didn't quite do that.

The road is the Blue Ridge Parkway

Very pretty!

I like the Virginia creeper and the foggy roads.

Looks damp and a little spooky, if you hear dueling banjos run like hell kind of thing. I especially like the droplets hanging off the vegetation, well done.:thumb:

Thanks V - it was pretty surreal at times driving through that fog.

Thanks Bruce - It was wet, wet, wet. It was actually raining on the trail. I was concerned with falling because mountain hiking is completely different than park hiking. It took me 4 hours to go 2 miles FFS!!

No photos today :)
