My first friend that got a car got a '41 Ford. I think I saw his engine block in that vid.
It is an amazing piece and makes me very grateful I didn't have to spend 40 years popping pistons out of hot molds. |
Hey Seņor, just play dead and he won't come back. Seņor ?

Even in the present and unfortunate state of toilet tissue tension, I'm pleased to see that this nation is keeping the supply chain unbroken.

That's not the supply chain, this is the supply chain...

Hey! That's just outside of Grifftopia! Keep buying that shit paper, I've got 50 acres of pulp wood to sell.
|
Warehoused there but probably made in Canada, down south or South America. Oh, 10% from India or China.
|
Nah. The Mehoopany plant makes yer Charmin etc... They have been using Canadian pulp though. It used to be 100% local sourced.

Damn Griff, that's the best news I've heard this year, thank you. We actually make something is the USA, in PA even.
Praise the lord and pass the Charmin. No, I'm not being facetious, after years of hearing this and that have left the country it's a breath of fresh air. I watched Chainsaw Al Dunlap destroy Scott Paper and thousands of local's livelihoods. |
They've been a strong local employer for a long time. They run a swing shift on the production lines which some guys love and others leave. A high school buddy has been an electrician down there for years. Good pay, regular work.

This Woodpecker flies back a forth between the feeder and a post several times. The video is slowed down so you can see it. I'm amazed how much of each flight is done with its wings folded.
|
I believe that's known as bounding flight.
|
I didn't think they ever flew without using the wings for something unless dodging obstructions. Obviously that's not true.
