So.... I got a book out of the library a few days ago and had glanced at the pre-novel blurb the day before I saw this thread:
"This is a work of fiction. Names, characters and incidents either are the product of the author's imagination or are used fictitiously.....The author also wishes he'd dreamed up the part about the giant Gambian puched rats, but he didn't. Those suckers are real. That is what made me take a quick glance here. I have now got to that part of the novel. :eek: |
