The correct place for shopping in a car

If you just have one or two bags -little enough that you can carry it to your car or to wherever you are being picked up..... where do you put the shopping?

Same place but don't take the cart to the car, leave it at the store.

which is?

I guess in a spare footspace would be another option

In the bed(trunk).

Depends on what it is. Something like new sneakers in the shoebox in a bag just get thrown onto the seat next to me. Loose stuff like produce goes in the trunk.

How are you going to eat it on the way home if it's not on the passenger seat?

I have a minivan, but usually shop alone, so it goes in the floorspace behind the driver's seat in front of the left side captain's chair.

In the passenger seat, or in the back seat.

Doesn't it get bruised/beat up rolling around your trunk, loose? Why would you put loose things in the trunk? Do ya just like looking for things?:eyebrow:

That.

Made a quick dash to Homebase for a 120L bale of multi-purpose compost (Dad for the use of) and then into the nearby M&S for some Brussels sprouts and emergency supplies of clotted cream fudge.
Not surprisingly the compost went into the space behind the back seats (it's an estate car) but the comestibles were allocated the front passenger seat.
The fudge was therefore consumed in short order on the way home.
The same cannot be said for the Brussels sprouts.
