What did I miss?

Griff 09-20-2017 06:06 AM

You missed me and Pete gagging when Aife came in last night. Pete said death, I said shit.

fargon 09-20-2017 06:16 AM

I thought I missed a meeting.

*Other:

If it's that bad it must be deathshit.

Also:

Aife?

Where did that come from?

Griff 09-21-2017 06:24 AM

Irish warrior princess. She's an old dog named by little girls with attitude.

*Other*

It's a perk of the job of being a dog, sometimes you find something new, something with punch and you roll with it. Revel in it, roll *in* it, the more pungent the better. It's good to be a dog.

Being indoors is optional.

Maybe she dug up one of the dead hobos. Better start looking around for stray bones.

You may be on to something, smells true.

Remember, a dogs' nose is many times as sensitive as ours, and it has the ability to separate scent components, which we do NOT. To a dog, that smell was ambrosia!

Or something.

I have mostly broken Bongo of rolling in/on various things he sniffs out on our walks. But he did make a credible effort to roll on a bird that died while we were out on a walk. The carcass was definitely NOT there when we left, but there it was, right next to his door when we returned. He's a silly thing and just could NOT understand why I refused to allow him to squish it into the concrete and keep the scent on him the rest of the day. He was still looking back at the dead bird as I drove away with the most forlorn and disappointed look on his furry face. LOL
