The Cellar - July 14th, 2018: Nailed It

This is the IOtD I bumped for feel good day.
When Shridhar Chillal of India was 14 he accidentally broke one of his teachers long fingernails.
Then the teacher broke his balls calling him all kinds of names and saying he could never grow long nails.
So for the next 66 years he let them grow on one hand, guess he needed the other hand to wank and wipe
After Guinness gave him the title for the world’s longest nails he sold them to Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum in New York.

It’s not an easy business growing the world’s longest nails. Chillal has said that his nails were so fragile that he has to be very careful not to break them while sleeping: “I can’t move much, so every half an hour or so I wake up and move my hand to the other side of the bed.” He was also in pain all the time from them. But his talons do come with some perks. “I never have to wait in a queue,” he told Guinness World Records.
