And then Phil Ramone used it with KAREN CARPENTER. Go to 2:45 of this song.

What a terrible job of it he did! Wait, maybe when he records ROBIN GIBB he can pull it off? (right at the beginning)

Yes, yes that one worked. But none, Phil, none as lovely as the original you copied over and over, you fuckin' hack.

Holy crap! That guy's playing a Gretch bass guitar. Sounds like it's interestingly strung, and/or distorted...

My sister is all about this guy. Jim may like this cover of Baby Got Back.

That guy had a project a few years ago where he wrote a song every day. Wonder if he's still doing that?

He sings one of my all time fav offbeat songs: Skullcrusher Mountain.

It's an evil genius' love song to his captive.

Quote:

I made this half-pony-half-monkey monster to please you,
But, I get the feeling that you don't like it.
What's with all the screaming?
You like monkeys, you like ponies,
Maybe you don't like monsters so much.
Maybe I used too many monkeys,
Isn't enough to know that I ruined a pony
Making a gift for you?

Heard this on the radio today. Beautiful:

Ha!

It wasn't actually a music show as such. It was one of those daytime chat shows and one of the guests was a member of the Hilliard Ensemble - they played a little ofthat track as part of the interview.

For Halloween, Michael Jackson's 'Thriller'...

...in 5 minutes...

...in the style(s) of 20 different artists.

Very interesting.
