Sept 6, 2010: Smoking Puppy

Quote:

23-year-old chef Zeng Ziguang said that he thought it would be funny to teach Little Black, his new puppy, to smoke when he bought him six months ago. He said: 'At the beginning he hated the smell a lot. Then I trained him to get used to it by puffing the smoke onto his face frequently.'

Zeng, of Wuchang in Hubei Province, central China, used treats of food to train Little Black to put the cigarette in his mouth. Within a month, he says, the puppy was smoking. 'Now it can smoke a pack a day,' Zeng boasted.
But don't worry about Mr Zeng, cigarettes are cheap in China, so it won't cost him much.

In other puppy abuse news, you may have heard about, or even seen, the video of the blond girl throwing 6 puppies in a river. The police in Bosnia have tracked her down. Even better news, one Grandma Rose Pavlovic, rescued 5 of the 6 puppies from the river.

It's terrible.

If they want to put him on the patch, they have to shave him.

sweetwater 09-06-2010 06:27 AM

Oh, how nice: a puppy with fur the same color as his lungs.

ZenGum 09-06-2010 07:45 AM

Smoked dog-meat: ur doin it rong.

xoxoxoBruce 09-06-2010 07:50 AM

Well yes, it's a fucked up thing to do, but I doubt the dog is actually smoking. More likely he's just holding them in his mouth, getting second hand smoke.

So, I probably shouldn't have taught my cat to freebase then?

Ya. So the pup will only develop mouth cancer instead of lung cancer. Might as well teach him to chew tobacco.

Don't be such a spoilsport, it only has one pack a day.

Smoking puppies, two-legged lambs and four-eared cats. The Chinese seem to have a lot more fun with their animals than others do.

Where's the harm? Dogs only live for a dozen or so years anyway. He'll be dead decades before any cancer shows up.

wolf 09-06-2010 04:33 PM

That's a lot cuter when a monkey does it. And they really inhale.

Dogs contract and die of cancer all the time.

Pearcie (AUS) 09-07-2010 12:52 AM

yeah, sadly, my cousin's dog died from cancer a couple of months ago at only 5 years old. She was a lab, the vet said apparently 1 in 8 labs get cancer and it's on the rise. :(
