I dunno about real banks, I guess. I use my credit union for everything--checking/savings, two credit cards, the mortgage, and a car loan--and they encourage you to do everything through the credit union's website. If I go make a deposit in person, my online web balance is up-to-date by the time I get home...

Yep - forgot to mention that credit unions are an exception. I'm not sure of the exact reason but I don't know of any bank that allows direct access to live account data.

Im curious if Beesties suggestion worked out.
I would do it.

When, (i assume the situation is) you live paycheck by paycheck... there usually is the "3 day rule"...

Like the man said, if possible, keep hard copy when things seem to get close to the line.

When I move monies around via the net, (deposits, payments, auto billing, stock transfers) ... I keep a daily lookout.

I hope ya get equitable compensation for fines and penalties.

(you can also use screen capturing software to get pics of your on line confirmations, ..... if the "File: save as: web archive single page hmt" won't save your internet page.)

I still say call them up, argue the toss, and I bet they'll waive it.

If I didn't have to make car payments, I'd be cashing my checks, buying precious metals and burying it in the backyard.

I'm working towards that goal, however.
