Things feel tense today, don't they? We're about to go to war, and we don't know what's going to happen...everything and everyone is on the edge today.

In the interest of mental health, I want to help Cellarites vent their frustration at a plague that is currently scouraging the Cellar. I tried to stay out of it, but it's like the kid with the Kick Me sign on him...you can't help but kick.

And so, my gift to the Cellarites is this: You may bag on radar all you like here. Go ahead...vent. It's good for the soul. The rules? None really...just don't do anything illegal. Any attempts by Radar to post to this thread will be erased as soon as possible.

Radar *is* an annoying ass. It's not the politics that makes that so. I agree with him on many issues and he's posted some really funny material and links (Hanks ass, although I don't agree with it, I found it funny) If he would be a bit less confrontational and cut the "cock smoker" bullshit, he'd fit right in here.

Also the posting of entire atricles is a bit annoying.

Libertarian macho-flashers: I've seen a thousand of 'em, and right now they piss me off more than they ever did.

The funny thing is that they don't convince anyone. If they are right, it hardly matters. By claiming they have a monopoly on truth, they give up intellectual honesty AND the ability to have a real conversation with just about anyone.

The only soft spot I have is that I probably *was* one, for a year or two, and didn't realize it.

In the end, it all comes back to "It's not what you say, it's how you say it."

UT and I don't agree on this war thing, but we've discussed it civilly. Perth and Whit had a great conversation about religion, without any ass-whippings being handed out.

And that's what it's all about. Not being too much of a jackass.

Radar's other fatal flaw (which UT touched upon) is that he believes he and he alone holds the truth. When in reality, all he holds is another perspective. Not necessarily wrong, yet not necessarily right. We could have had a great discussion about that Browne article, had it not been posted by Señor Douchebag (which Griff touched upon).

Hey, where's that turd been lately? I've only seen him a couple of times, and I thought he would love to rant against the war. I know he generally only follows the politics threads, so maybe I should move this thread there. :)

Maybe it's time to add him to the list of folks that walk away with their tail between their legs...

There's always the new user name scam. Maybe he'll go that direction. I thought he was trying for a few posts to tone it down a bit but it just wasn't working for him.

But don't you think his annoying attitude would leak through no matter what. I thought maybe he was just being an ass becuase he was online for the first time, but no one can keep that up for long unless they really are an ass can they?

That doesn't seem to happen a whole hell of a lot though. It hasn't morphed into a Xugumad/Parmenion situation, at least that I have seen. Unless he's decided to become a Spaniard. ;)

(Nah...I've seen the Spaniards that post here on CCLG, under different names though, from what I can tell...except for Rucita.)
