Got a big old injection into the arch of my foot this morning--half local anesthetic, half anti-inflammatory. Hooray! It's weird walking around on a completely numb foot. The lump started dissipating almost immediately, but the podiatrist told me to take it easy or it may come back. Isn't he adorable?
