I just lost the diamond out of my engagement ring
I was lopping branches in the garden without gloves on and I walked away to see if the bike noise in the street heralded the arrival of bikerboy (it didn't), and i touched the ring to align it correctly and it felt wrong ...the diamond (and several tips) were gone. It was tiny and is unfindable. I am the person who can find a needle in a haystack, and take tenacity to a point of absurdity, but I am not even going to try to look for it.
