As befits an engineer Dick Strawbridge is clear thinking and practical by nature.
This is more apparent in the series 'Escape to the Chateau' where he and his wife bought a rather run down French chateau and started a long renovation process.
Anyone who can take on French plumbing and bureaucracy and win is worthy of great respect!
The fifth series finished just before Christmas and most episodes seem to be available on YouTube.
