It has nothing to do with me...it's a friend who is Clueless with a capital C. To tell him to reinstall WMP and then update his codecs would entail an hour of explaining each program and how it works alone and together with the others, then handholding him through the process step by step. And I don't use Win98SE.
I swear, if I have to drive all the way to Marcus Hook one more time to unfuck his puter, I'm going to install Linux and prevent him from installing ANY software. Then at least I can administer to his system remotely.
