i am an independent. i do lean right on many issues but i refuse to be a member of the D's or R's. i will vote for the individual who i believe will do a better job in areas that i consider to be priorities.

i support some safety nets provided by the government to catch people when they fall, but i am not a supporter of most entitlements. realistic, but firm limits should be enforced.

i do support a true flat tax. i don't mind paying more tax $ than my neighbor, but why should i give away a higher % of my income?

i do support a larger military capable of taking the fight anywhere, anytime, any way necessary.

although i understand the necessity of exporting some jobs, i think it should be a crime to bounce government call center calls to india, or anywhere else for that matter.

i am in support of reform in the insurance and medical industries but oppose a nat'l healthcare plan.

i believe public education is in the toilet and some type of privatization would improve the situation.
