How is yet another stunning example of the FBI's incompetence about Bush? And what does it have to do with the death penalty in Texas (which Bush also had nothing to do with)? The story has plenty of worth on its own merit and is a disgusting abuse of power by the same organization that stood on the sidelines while the hijackers were taking their flight lessons. Was Ruby Ridge W's fault? Was Waco also Bush's fault?!?! Did the Bush hamstring the CIA's ability to gather human intel?

Everyone knows you hate Bush, tw and that's fine. But to make Bush the scapegoat for everything that has gone wrong since September 11, 2001 is a huge, huge mistake. The trap that you have set for yourself is thinking that if W loses in November that all the evils of government will evaporate as soon as Kerry is sworn in.

What will happen, I predict, is that if W loses and we have more government abuse or incompetence (9/11 part II or more buffoonery from the FBI or DoJ), that you will blame it on W's administration. In so doing, you are blinding yourself to the problems that are creating the problems - problems that have been around long before W took office. And, just for the record, W gets the blame for a lot so this isn't some partisan attempt to exempt him from any responsibility for other things for which he is clearly at fault.
