If it's shape-retention is as high as I remember, then I'd actually be tempted to buy a blob of this stuff for occasional sculpting.

If anyone picks up some, let me know how well it holds up. I have a couple tins of "Thinking Putty", but it goes gooey really quick. Its like oobleck in that the more force you apply to it, the more it tends to tear or shatter. That aspect is kind of fun, because if you put a blob on the ceiling, it will, over the course of 15 minutes or so, slowly ooze and drip down onto the unsuspecting person below.
