do have
evidence -- previous exerience -- on the reliability of your friends and family. Not on the almighty.
I am a life-long atheist; I really wanted to pick a fight about the damn pledge back when I was in school. But all my teachers said was "Fine, sit down." None of the other kids even mentioned it to me. Total non-issue. And here I was, spoiling for a good fight.
