The House failed to pass the Sanders Amendment to the Patriot Act today. The vote was 210-210.

We were this close to getting some of our freedom back...

(And no, I'm not going to criticize the Republican leadership for holding the vote open an extra 20 minutes. The Dems would probably do the same thing for one of their causes if they could.)
