Dr.Ron Paul was a Libertarian Presidential candidate but is now a Republican Congressman. You'll see his dissenting vote on most everything (like a war in Iraq). His district is comfortable with him being out of the pork loop. The GOP has been known to occasionally go after him in the primaries, but folks with libby leanings help him with cash when the party gets cute. I'd vote for him at the drop of a hat.
