I've been working with Wolf on this problem and think I have it ironed out. She says they can be opened without saving them to your hard drive but if they dont seem to work, try saving the target link as.

This is an assembly type (5 mb) file for a ficticious mechanism
This is an 8 mb file that shows a walk around a piano
On the first one, I did all the modeling and the actual clip inputs. The texturing, shapes, camera pan and the co-ordination of the moving parts....that's all me, although it isnt really polished for mass comsumption.
The second one, the piano was included with a library of models that I bought with the program. I set up the walkaround sequence and the lighting, put the floor in and the tiles and made the clip. The model was not done by me, but I could make it if I had enough time. I've been trying to get some clips as examples to show and the interface for this program is complicated and different than the modeling program I spent 13 years mastering.
I'll keep my eye on this thread. I think these clips are interesting and if there are any more problems, I'll look further into why you cannot see them.
