I mean by numbers. There aren't quite as many people who need/want/are about to buy a supercomputer as there are people who need/want/are about to buy a gaming computer/console. Sure, there may be a few thousand entities preparing to buy a supercomputer but then there's probably a few hundred thousand, if not a million+, who are preparing to buy a gaming-focused computer or console or the games for said machines.
