Seems to be a London thing but spreading fast, the short answer is using a video phone to record your mate slapping a random stranger (aim is to catch someone unawares; asleep or facing the oppsite direction) then distributing it by bluetooth. It's kind of like trading cards, collect them all! Some are hard not to laugh at and are mostly harmless, some are disturbing and would be serious assult charges, gangs of guys violently slapping women, that kind of thing. Started with young black gangs but spreading fast, usually happens on busses, often late at night. And people wonder why I keep my keys in my hand....
