When they're in the colosseum place, and they're supposed to be being eaten by the ugly monsters, and the monster takes a swipe at Amidala... how the heck does it manage to only take off such a small part of her outfit? You would think it would have removed more cloth. (My wife claimed that the leftover shirt part was smaller and smaller in each successive scene, but I didn't notice.)

Had it taken off as much of her outfit as the legion of fans wanted, they'd never have managed a PG-13 rating.
