It sure was a better world when we were 50% agricultural, had a life span of about 45 years, were not in any sense a global power (almost lost to those stinky Mexicans! Had our white house burned down by frikking Canadians!), and best of all, men were allowed to smack women around to keep them in line.
Boy the good old days, eh? When you could be an sexist, racist, violent asshole and it was legal and acceptable. Must be hard for a tough guy like you nowadays!
But not so tough that you can't spend a little time whining and complaining and blaming everyone else for how things are.
