That's actually better addressed in another thread up here...but anyway....
I always have to remember that with many people I have a *lot* of influence and with many people I have next to none.
Allah was just making the same point on the phone the other day.
Sometimes you just cant win. Everyone wants signs. "Give me a sign, God...should I [insert whatever you like here]"?
I hear this all the time and often just set my auto-prayer-reply as something along the line of "use your best judgement" or maybe "Let the force guide you"*. Many times I have other things going and cant actually give a personal reply to everyone.
I have a life, so sue me.
In this case, there must have been something good on TV or maybe I was trying to be funny and gave a somewhat confusing message back to W. In certain cases in the past I have given suggestions back as a joke, some of which they have taken seriously, for example:
W: ahh...God....should I invade Iraq?
God: [heavy sarcasm] If you were really smart.....you would [/heavy sarcasm]
So in this case the whole Iraq situation might have been started because of timing. When Survivor is on, I give wiseass replies.
