Did they take you to the hospital for a blood test or even ask you to take one? If they didn't, you likely got your out right there.
I operate a breathalyzer (actually an ALCO-Sensor brand) regularly. It doesn't take much of a blow to get a reasonably accurate result. Regular old exhale is more than enough for the breath test.
