Mrs Elspode is recuperating nicely following (wait for it...) - gastric bypass surgery last Friday.
It was a big decision and it is going to be a major lifestyle change for her. I'm quite proud of her and we're both really excited about what the future will hold for her as she begins the process of recovering from ten years of chronic obesity.
Oh...and it has been snowing like a bitch for 12 hours now and is supposed to keep up for about eight more. We've got about five inches on the ground here now, and there could be 8 or more for me to drive through for 300+ miles tomorrow. Egad.
