I know that BigV knows what he is doing. But not everyone does. Lest some poor lurker stumble across these pages, I present the following cautionary tale: We had a suburban family in the DC area lose their home Christmas day when they put the turkey fryer in the garage. The boiling oil spattered, as it often does, onto the burner, and the resulting eruption of flames engulfed the garage and attached house. The poor fools are now homeless.
