I've found that a lot of chains now have an 'internet rate' that is lower than AAA and that you can only find on the Internet. Since they are saving the cost of paying an operator, this makes some sense.
I love the airport hotels from most chains since they are usually the best discounted over the internet. We will be staying a night at an airport Hilton using my bonus points in order to save $300-450 in airfare.
