He also sent along a bunch of receipts from "King Sooper" market showing the type of stuff he was buying.
One made me laugh. It had several cans of cat food, no more than 2 of each flavor, the cashier had to back out at the end of the tape. Cats don't care if your saving the world from aliens, supper will be served in a timely fashion.
