I have several Wiccan friends and am a Buddhist and a follower of Christ (not a Christian) myself.
Most of my family are Christian, but my wife's family are...um... how does one describe Freewill Baptist? Extreme and conservative at the same time... rational they are not.
When I make things for my Wiccan friends and when my Buddhism comes up, especially in regards to my son, it does, indeed, get ugly... then I hang-up or leave.
And I really hang-up or leave. We told them that was what was going to happen if they were not civil and we actually get up from the table and leave or I, or my wife, just disconnects the call.
No subject is off-limits, if civil.
They seem to have a hard time with this, very confusing.
I don't even explain to them the origin of modern Christmas or Easter... I've been good!
