Yes I got it for use in smoker and bbq. But way down in the fine print, it says not to use for that. WTF That's why I bought the damn thing.

Well, for $20, you could get one of these from Circuit City. I bought one for my BBQ.

I bought one and have used it 2 time. Getting ready for drunk chicken today. I see that the probe pulgin is not very snug. Great so far. Also see their on sale for 16.?? now
