The inch is my mortar tender.
Being only two and a half doesn't excuse him from a share of the labor around here. We actually involve him in a lot of what we do around the house.
He helps unload the dishwasher, mix eggs, helps me make the pizza dough on bachelor night, spreads the sauce, weeds the garden, (he can tell the difference between "good plants" and "bad plants" as we call them) He is invloved in folding and unfolding the laundry. Sometimes his actual help, as measured in goal achievement, is questionable at best. But at this point it is about the journey, as they say.
Since he was little we've included him in what we do around the house to the degree that he was able to particitpate and sustain interest. The latter invloved a bit of imagination on our part to make it fun or magic as SWMBO says.
But his only chore, per se, is feeding and watering the cats. He is able to do that if we open the cat food bin for him.
