After a very long wait, the Washington supreme court came back today and said that it is constitutional for the state to disallow marriage to same-sex couples. The ruling states that same-sex marriage may be the law of the land someday, but it will come from the people and the legislature, not the bench.
This is annoying to me, as I live in Washington and would have taken advantage had it gone the other way
