Not many of those left since the Coast Guard has automated all their lighthouses. It sounds romantic, but I've heard some pretty sad stories about the life of lighthouse keepers and their families. Isolation, lonliness, etc. I'll spare you the details of some of the more tragic stories.
I'm glad you liked the pics, bri. I have to pinch myself sometimes when I realize I get paid to go to these places.
