I am in full support of the Castle Doctrine... but I have not seen anything here that shows that he felt threatened in any way.
Also, if you are worried about someone on your property, what is the point of shooting out their tires? Don't you want them to leave?
If they are in the car and you want to scare them, shoot into the ground... or better yet, don't do anything and just wait for them to leave while calling the cops.
People are idiots.
