I'm dropping a check in the mail this week to Rhawnhurst-Bustleton Ambulance for ambulance service in 2003. The City of Philadelphia socked Rho (or rather, taxpayers in the Commonwealth of PA) for $528 for taking her all of 1000 feet when she called for one earlier this year.

Never again...not when you can get the same service for a simple $35 donation.
