It's quite close actually. There are a few changes, to bring it up to date, but it retains much the same flavour. I couldn't point out the specific changes, as it's about 15 years since I read it :P But, I think they've got it about right as far as I can recall.
Of course, M is a woman now, not a man, but the relationship between the characters is very much in keeping with the book.
