Exactly. The Cellar registration is protected by a
CAPTCHA, so automated scripts can't register. It has to be done by a human, so what they are apparently doing is hiring people overseas, for pennies, to create and register accounts.
This is leading to a lot of spam accounts with names like "linda jones" and such, obvious attempts at americanization -- and "ldhldhldhl", obvious keyboard spatters -- and "freeviagra1998"....
We may eventually have to institute a policy where new accounts have their first (and or second?) messages moderated, so we can check the usual anti-spam filters. Or something.
