the traditional Christian would probably argue that the biological condition exists because of sin in the world. It shouldn't exist but it does and no amount of saying it is 100% choice or what you friggin eat will change that.
I would say that when you step back it doesn't matter if it is a sin or not. We're all f'ed up and full of it and there's no point in picking on other people's flaws to bring them down. Then stand on their head while you yourself are no better a person than they.
