As some of you know, my primary listening choice is classical, with broadway and jazz thrown in, plus good comedy and parody songs.
My "guilty pleasure" music is almost all stuff that was ubiquitous when I was in high school, and that makes me nostalgic when I listen too it. Material Girl, Like A Virgin, She-Bop, Video Killed the Radio Star, Pressure. Maybe a couple others, but those are the ones that come to mind immediately.
Mind you, I wouldn't have given you a nickel for this stuff at the time. Now I can see quite clearly its superiority over all the shit kids listen to today. I'm sure this is yet another sign of my accelerating decline into geezerhood.
