I try to keep up with happenings back in St. Louis on a regular basis, usually through the St. Louis Post-Dispatch (St. Louis's daily newspaper) and KWMU (St. Louis's main NPR station). Man, the internet is an amazing thing...

I was saddened to learn that Greg Freeman passed away on Tuesday December 31. Freeman was a columnist for the Post-Dispatch, and also worked afternoons at KWMU. He also hosted a show on KETC (St. Louis's PBS station) for several years, and hosted an online forum on the Post's website. He was a good guy, a good ambassador for St. Louis, and I always enjoyed his work.
