A couple of years ago I came up with the perfect response to both Jehovah's Witnesses
and Mormons:
"I'm sorry, but my husband makes all the religious decisions for the family."
If you say it with just the right amount of innocent cluelessness, they can't possibly respond, because they both believe that's the way it
should be. Sometimes they ask when he'll be home, but once I know what they look like I don't answer the door again.
